Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales has sparked health concerns after pulling out of Royal Ascot last minute.
The future Queen, who is gradually returning to royal duties after her cancer battle, was said to be disappointed at missing out on a famous event. However, she reportedly still continues to find the right balance after a health battle.
For those unaware, in 2024 Kate Middleton underwent major abdominal surgery after which she was diagnosed with cancer. While the state of cancer was kept hidden, the Princess of Wales revealed in 2025 that she is in “remission” after completing her chemotherapy treatment.
Now, Rebecca English wrote in a piece for MailOnline about the seriousness of Kate’s health condition.
She wrote, “As I have previously revealed, the princess was seriously unwell in the run-up to her surgery in the first place.”
Rebecca went on to write further, “And while that is a story only for her to tell – if she ever chooses to do so – I can say that, from what I understand, she is fortunate to even be speaking of recovery.”
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales announced completion of chemotherapy in September 2024 and made her first public appearance in October when she joined Prince William on a visit to bereaved families in Southport.
Then in January 2025, she announced she's in remission after visiting The Royal Marsden hospital in London, where she was treated.
