Traders call for decision on Karachi law and order within three days

KARACHI: All Karachi Tajir Ittehad Chairman Atiiq Mir said that the trader’s fraternity would be disappointed if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif didn’t take decision on Karachi law and order within three days.

Talking to media on Tuesday, he said that Mr Sharif listened to trader’s grievances only and said nothing. He said that law and order situation in Karachi was alarming and the prime minister introduced such a system that should not be under the provincial government.

He also said that differences between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) had been destroying business in the port city.
