Caitlyn Jenner gets honest about Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet romance

Caitlyn Jenner finally made her first public statement about daughter Kylie Jenner’s romance with Timothée Chalamet as engagement chatters began to swirl.

Three years after rumours first linked the Marty Supreme star with the Khy founder, Kris Jenner’s ex-husband has revealed what she really thinks about the newly minted Golden Globe Best Actor winner.

"I just want my daughter to be happy and she is. And I like that," the I am Cait alum said during her latest outing at the LAX airport.

Raving over her potential son-in-law, Caitlyn, who revealed her identity as a transgender woman in 2015, called the two-time Oscar nominee a "great kid" and "phenomenal actor."

Chalamet, who turned 30 on December 27, 2025, definitely earned his love interest’s parent’s stamp of approval as Caitlyn, previously known as Bruce Jenner, added, "He’s a good kid and he’s very good to Kylie."

The former Keeping Up with the Kardashians member not only has nice words to say about the A Complete Unknown actor but also revealed that she has seen his latest film, which is loosely based on the real-life American table tennis legend Marty Mauser.

Fresh off Kris’s social media shoutout to the Wonka actor, the 76-year-old shared her thoughts on Kylie and Timothée’s romance when Daily Mail caught up with her at the airport on Wednesday, January 14.

Engagement rumours surrounding Kendall Jenner's younger sister and the French-American heartthrob have intensified after eagle-eyed fans spotted a large diamond ring on her finger during recent public appearances.

The speculation grew after her appearance at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, where she sported a “massive diamond ring” on her pinky while supporting Timothée.

Further fueling the chatter, a video from the 2026 Golden Globes reignited the rumours, with observers suggesting that Ariana Grande noticed the ring on Kylie’s hand and asked about a potential engagement.

While many fans are convinced the couple is secretly engaged, some sources suggest they are "moving closer to engagement" and that it’s "only a matter of timing."

Notably, Kylie, 28, has faced similar engagement rumours in the past, often triggered by her wearing oversized rings. 

As of now the couple has not officially confirmed anything.
