Wendy Williams has shared a new update about her life while staying in a care facility in New York as her court battle over her conservatorship continues.
The 61-year-old TV personality is currently living at Coterie, an assisted living and memory care unit, where she has been since 2023 after her health declined.
She was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia and stepped away from her talk show in 2021.
In a recent interview, Wendy explained what her daily life looks like inside the facility, shareing that the place is calm with trees and grass, but her movement is limited because many areas are locked and she is closely monitored.
She also said she always has security around her. However, the media figure also shared that her life is very different from before.
She now goes to church every Sunday with a personal aide and visits the gym twice a week when she can. She also said she sometimes eats in her room and that most of her personal items are now in storage.
Wendy also talked about how hard the change has been for her, saying she once lived a busy public life on television but now everything is controlled and restricted.
The American former broadcaster has talked before about not being happy with the facility, even calling it a “dump” and asking to move from her current floor.
Wendy Williams's legal fight in court is still going on as she continues to challenge the conservatorship.
