King Charles expressed his immense pride in a new letter after Prince Harry offered the first olive branch of 2026.
The monarch extended heartfelt wishes to Colonel Jeremy Hansen and his team ahead of the launch of the Artemis II mission.
According to the royal family's official website, Prince William's father showcased his pride that the Artemis II mission is set to take place.
He celebrated the "first crewed voyage beyond low Earth orbit since the dawn of the Space Age."
Charles penned, "I know that Canada’s participation in this bold mission reflects decades of dedicated leadership and sustained investment in space innovation, as well as the strength of international partnerships that make such endeavours possible."
The King said that Colonel Jeremy Hansen will carry the hopes of fellow Canadians and the Commonwealth side by side with the "aspirations of humanity" itself.
Charles lauded the "courage, discipline and vision" to make this historic moment possible.
The head of the royal family also talked about Astra Carta, which he launched in 2023 at Buckingham Palace.
For the unversed, it is a framework to "promote sustainability in outer space, echoing his 'Terra Carta' for Earth."
At the end of his statement, the King sent good wishes to the team and prayed for their safe return.
This message came after Prince Harry's pal disclosed that he would like to spend family time at Sandringham if the invitation were extended.
