Prince William has his sights set on an important issue as King Charles is embroiled with a messy situation concerning the forthcoming visit of the Sussexes to the UK.
The Prince of Wales, who launched an initiative, inspired by the values of his late mother Princess Diana to end homelessness from the UK in June 2023, is now taking a different approach to prevent the crisis in the first place, which is caused by systemic failure.
The future King has indicated that he already has big plans for the monarchy and he has indicated the changes he is willing to implement with Homewards.
“Homelessness is not an individual failure; it is a systemic failure. And, if systems help create the problem, then systems can also help prevent it,” William is expected to share in the speech at a celebration event on Tuesday.
“By trialling new approaches, Homewards is demonstrating how prevention can be embedded across every part of our society. Proving that our true strength emerges not in isolation, but in a shared purpose that makes us greater than the sum of our parts.”
The initiative has already helping thousands of people access stable homes, jobs, and support before they reach a crisis point.
The update comes around the time Prince William is allegedly at odds with his father’s peace plan with Prince Harry, who is expected to bring Meghan and their two children to the UK, for the first time in four years.
King Charles is open to welcome his grandchildren but sources have stressed that Prince William and Princess Kate have decided to “disengage” from the drama.
