Prince Edward holds private meeting with Andrew to deliver key message

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor seemed to have received his first royal visitor following his arrest on his 66th birthday in February.

The royals have been keeping a distance from the disgraced ex-prince especially given the harrowing allegations against him and the public uproar over the Andrew-Epstein scandal.

Prince Edward, who is not only the beloved member of the family but also understood to be in King Charles’s close circle, took a bold step for the family after he arrived at Sandringham.

The Duke of Edinburgh was due to stay at Wood Farm but had to stay in the main house as the shamed former royal is refusing to leave, sources told The Sun.

“Prince Edward was the first and only member of the Royal Family to visit,” a friend shared. “Andrew has been ignored by everyone since he left Royal Lodge, including his daughters and ex-wife who have stayed away.”

The source insisted that Edward has made his feelings publicly clear about the victims of Epstein. The royal had been the first to comment on the matter and stressed that it "really important" to "always" remember the victims.

“Edward was meant to be staying at Wood Farm as he regularly books it for Easter, but his brother was there,” they continued. “Andrew has been dragging his heels. He could have moved by now, but has been reluctant.”

The friend also added that Edward had a “quiet word” with Andrew, possibly to deliver a message or even a warning from the King over his recent antics.

Andrew is banned from horse riding and has been forced to remain away from the public eye. Moreover, he was also asked to return precious artwork which he has reportedly kept.
