King Charles appears to have given his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle a nod of approval as he takes a page out of her book.
The Duchess of Sussex, who founded her lifestyle brand As Ever with a selection of products, had adopted a different approach to promote her brand.
The As Ever founder began with a small “numbered” stock of fruit preserves which she sent over to friends and celebrities. The labels of the jars read ‘x of 50 jars” and social media was abuzz with people wondering who got which number.
Later, she introduced a limited edition honey which was sold out in minutes. Now, with spring announcing its arrival and many preparing for Easter, Meghan brought a special honey for the occasion, Orange Blossom honey.
Now, Charles’s beloved Highgrove Gardens have introduced ‘Highgrove Harmony Royal Garden Honey’ which was inspired by the “natural beauty” of the gardens.
There is a limited number of jars (750) and are described as “extraordinary” as they are “produced by royal bees”, as per the official website.
It also noted that the three “ornate hives nestled in the gardens of Highgrove House” were a gift to the King for his 70th birthday and produce a “precious annual harvest of exceptional character and depth”.
“Each jar is hand-numbered, with only 750 jars available this year, celebrating the premiere of Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, a documentary honouring His Majesty's lifelong dedication to harmony with nature.”
The move is a reflection of how Meghan marked the beginning of her brand and the nod is a praise for her strategy.
