The British monarch, King Charles, heads to the United States next week for the most high-profile trip of his reign so far.
Donald Trump has honoured his guest with a meaningful 'title' ahead of his arrival, calling the 77-year-old monarch a 'fantastic man'.
In conversation with BBC, he also said that the visit can 'absolutely' help relations between US and UK.
The trip is being considered very crucial to shore up the future of the two allies' special relationship which the Iran war has plunged to its lowest point in 70 years.
The state visit marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. declaration of independence from British rule, when the then 13 American colonies decided to split from King George III, Charles's five-times-great-grandfather.
As a result, the so-called "special relationship" between the two nations has waned, as the Prime Minister continues to condemn Trump for the war in Iran.
However, when asked if the visit could mend the currently perilous relationship between the two countries, Trump responded, "Absolutely. He's fantastic. He's a fantastic man. Absolutely the answer is yes."
He added: "I know him well, I've known him for years. He's a brave man, and he's a great man. They would absolutely be a positive."
The US President insisted his opinion and strained relationship with the Prime Minister would "not at all" overshadow or impact the visit.
"I've known him for a long time. He's a wonderful, wonderful person," he said.
Despite the fractious relationship between the two leaders, King Charles and Trump have remained close.
The King and Queen Camilla will visit three locations: Washington D.C., New York and Virginia. The trip coincides with America's celebration of 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
