Machine Gun Kelly – aka Colson Baker – just dropped a surprisingly honest confession: he’s still waiting in regular TSA lines like the rest of us. No precheck. No shortcuts.

Why? A past mistake that’s still catching up with him.

During a backstage interview in Sydney, MGK did not sugarcoat it. After being asked why it took eight years to return to Australia, he went with the “honest answer.”

“I was caught with cocaine on the way back from New Zealand.”

He added, “Traveling was difficult because I have a level 1 narcotics possession or whatever… My statute of limitations is like, 10 years or something. I still don't get [TSA] PreCheck or Global Entry… I'm still stuck in lines like normal.”

Not exactly the VIP lifestyle people imagine.

Still, the vibe now? Different. Reflective, even.

“Dude, I woke up… just sitting with my palms up being grateful, just asking God to keep dropping more blessings into my hand,” he said.

The timing matters. MGK has been open about getting sober, sharing last year, “I don't drink anymore… That was my first time I ever went to rehab.”

He later explained the shift: “I had to zoom out… I have a daughter who I love… and a beautiful life to live for.”

So yes, he’s in the regular airport line – but also, seemingly, in a very different place mentally.

And honestly? That might be the bigger flex.
