D4vd murder update: Medical reveals more findings

New details in the case of Celeste Rivas Hernandez are adding to an already complex investigation – though authorities are urging caution as the legal process continues.

According to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the 14-year-old died from “multiple penetrating injuries,” with her death officially ruled a homicide.

Investigators also documented additional postmortem findings, noting in the report that “The left ring and pinky fingers appear to have been mutilated… and I did not locate them during my scene examination.”

Her remains were discovered in September 2025 inside an impounded Tesla after officials responded to reports of a “foul smell emanating” from the car at a Hollywood tow yard.

The vehicle was linked to D4vd, who has since been charged with murder, unlawful mutation of human remains, and additional serious offenses. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody.

Prosecutors allege the body remained in the vehicle for months before it was towed. Meanwhile, Burke’s legal team maintains his innocence, stating: “The actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death. We will vigorously defend David's innocence.”

As the case heads further into court proceedings, key questions remain unanswered – and both sides are preparing for a closely watched legal battle.

For now, the investigation continues, with each new development drawing national attention.
