Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari breaks silence on her rehab stay

Sam Asghari shared his thoughts after Britney Spears reportedly checked into a rehab facility, saying that he supports anything that helps her heal as long as it is her own decision.

The 32-year-old model, who separated from Britney a little over a year after their marriage in June 2022, spoke to TMZ and kept his message simple.

He said, “I think it's great. I think anything that has anything to do with healing and great things … and as long as the person is in charge of that, it's all great.”

Sam also admitted that he has not been in contact with his ex-partner recently and when asked if they opened up, he said, “Uh, no.”

Just days after her arrest in Ventura, California in March on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, Sam also asked the media to respect her space.

The model went on to add that people make mistakes and added that everyone deserves privacy during difficult times.

Britney’s ex husband Kevin Federline has also reacted, sharing that he is happy she is getting help if she needs it.

His lawyer shared that the most important thing is that she follows any treatment plan and completes it.

Reports also suggest Britney’s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James played an important role in her decision to seek treatment.
