Mobile phone services restored in Karachi, other cities

ISLAMABAD: The mobile phone services that remained suspended throughout the day as part of the government's security plan on the occasion of 9th of Muharram has restored in Karachi and other cities, Geo News reported.

The services remained suspended in more than 80 cities from 06:00AM till 9:00PM.

Other cities where the cellular services have also been restored included Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzafafrgarh.

Meanwhile, the mobile phone services could not be restored in Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar.
