King Charles team 'reaches out' to William for historic Harry reunion

Prince William landed in a tough spot after pressure mounted behind Palace walls to have a historic sit-down with Prince Harry.

King Charles has already begun the peace talks with the former working royals, the Sussexes, but his eldest son was not in favour of it.

However, royal aides and policy makers behind the scenes believe that the estrangement between the monarch's sons has been portraying the firm in a bad light.

"The fact that Charles is willing to forgive and move forward has shifted things for a lot of people, so Harry is feeling quite hopeful that the pressure from his father and the wider family will eventually help him crack William’s tough shell," the source told Heat.

It has also been claimed that the Duke of Sussex is not after the reconciliation with William in order to save his titles, but he "swears" that he just wants his brother back.

Despite all these efforts, William's heart is not melting, as the previous 'attacks' on the monarchy by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex brutally hurt the Waleses.

Time will tell if Harry's back-to-back public hints at his brother will win him a private meeting with the future King.
