Royals are shifting focus on a crucial issue that has been ignored for far too long as lives get busier and opportunities are scarce.

It appears that other royals are getting inspired by the Princess of Wales, who has stepped up on her advocacy for more outdoor activity and using nature to heal oneself.

Princess Kate, who underwent a difficult health journey, recently took on the gruelling National Three Peaks Challenge, finishing the solo trek within the allotted 24-hour window. Catherine is the first member of the British royal family to so.

It seems that influence has reached Sweden as Prince Carl Philip’s wife, the beloved Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland.

“Today, Princess Sofia inaugurated the new and accessible trail to Njupeskär waterfall in Fulufjället National Park,” the statement translated in English read.

“The Dalarna County Administrative Board began work to make the area around Njupeskär more accessible ten years ago,” it continued.

“Since then, trails, rest areas, shelters, barbecue areas and service facilities have been gradually adapted so that more people can experience the national park's most visited place.”
