Wales International Sorba Thomas escapes a scary car incident after his car rolls over near the club’s training ground.
Hull City has confirmed the news that Sorba Thomas remained unhurt after his car turned over onto its roof on Friday morning.
After the rolled-over car crash images surfaced on social media, showing a Land Rover Defender with a custom license plate lying upside down beside a narrow residential street.
According to the bystanders' accounts, reported by multiple British media outlets, the incident happened around 9 a.m. BST with firefighters and police rushing to the crash site.
Images circulating online also showed Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic at the site.
The Premier League club also confirmed Wales International Thomas was behind the wheel but stated he is “totally unscathed” and is ready to travel along the squad for their scheduled game against Chelsea on Saturday, September 12.
Thomas transferred from Stoke City to Hull on the last day of the transfer window, debuted in last week’s game against Aston Villa which ended in a draw.
Hull are returning back to the Premier League action at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, where they face Chelsea.
