Matty Healy sends fans in frenzy with 'unserious' album updates

Matty Healy has adopted a playful approach to promoting his upcoming The 1975 album - dropping clues and refusing confirmation to fans when they ask about the details.

The 37-year-old indie rock star has been actively posting on TikTok, and has already shared a demo of an unreleased song.

The About You hitmaker has began trolling fans who leave questions about the album in works, in the comments and his hilarious responses have been going viral on social media.  `

One fan wrote, "he's a menace," and "generational troll," complaining about Healy's unserious responses.

Another added, "idk why i thought he was serious. that's on me," and "do you actually wanna do this or not," chimed in another.

Someone noted, "singer of my favourite band btw," and "Love him so bad, quipped another, as well as "he’s so annoyinggggggg."

Someone innocently asked, "is this a joke to you," to which he responded, "yes queen [nail polish emoji]."

Laughing at his responses, a fan wrote, "Looks like that beard shaving trauma is taking a toll on him," and "Employ him someone," joked another.
