Man who shot at DoorDash driver over late cheesesteak delivery sentenced to prison

A Bucks County man has been handed a life imprisonment for shooting at a DoorDash driver over a late cheesesteak delivery.

Keilan Marshal McKeever, who appeared before Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr at the Bucks County Justice Centre in Doylestown on Tuesday, September 15.

A judge delivered the verdict, sentencing the 33-year-old Keilan McKeever to a four-to-10-year jail sentence for the 2025 shooting incident.

Judge Steven Corr said while delivering the sentence that he had considered giving McKeever of Richlandtown, even more prison time, citing the “disgusting” nature of the case.

“We have a young man out trying to make money, providing a service to you. The way you treated, I don’t know what causes someone to fire a shot at someone like that,” Judge Corr observed.

McKeever pleaded guilty to several charges, including assault, and was ordered to pay the victim $2,288 in damages and undergo a mental health checkup.

The delivery driver, who was 19 at the time, alleged McKeever opened fire at his car while the driver was just starting to leave the home in Richlandtown, saying the customer got upset for late delivery.

However, the driver remains unhurt.

McKeever had filed an open guilty plea in June to two counts of aggravated assault and one count each of possession of a firearm, following the unprovoked shooting that hardly escaped the life of the young delivery worker.

The incident took place on March 22, 2025, near Ist Avenue and Cherry Street in Richlandtown.

The victim, a 19-year-old college student who was working at DoorDash to support family finances, delivered an order at McKeever’s home on Cherry Street.
