Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

TMZ reports that the couple's daughter was reportedly delivered by Dr. Robert Katz, an OB-GYN known for working with several other celebrity families, including Ciara and Russell Wilson.

Gaga was recently photographed holding her daughter close to her chest during a private outing with Polansky and a friend in Northern California, offering the first public glimpse of the couple's new chapter as parents.

According to reports, the baby's name has been revealed as Rose Bean.

The inspiration behind her first name may connect to Gaga's own body art, she has a large rose tattoo running down her spine, inspired by her performance of La Vie en Rose in 2018's A Star Is Born

Her middle name has been linked to singer and activist Carl Bean, whose work influenced Gaga's hit Born This Way.

Gaga has spoken openly in past interviews about her desire to become a mother.

Speaking to Rolling Stone alongside Polansky last year, she said plainly, "Being a mom is the thing I want the most."

Polansky, for his part, shared that the couple hoped to draw inspiration from friends Elton John and David Furnish's approach to parenting their two sons, telling the outlet, "Their kids have turned out to be very happy... The most important thing is making it feel like this is just our family, this is what we do."
