Joe Alwyn sparked new romance rumours after recently being linked to Sarah Pidgeon.

Taylor Swift’s ex-lover has once again found himself at the center of dating speculation following a late-night outing in New York City with comedian Mary Beth Barone.

The 35-year-old actor and Barone, also 35, were photographed walking across the Williamsburg Bridge on Thursday night, September 17, before stopping at several local bars.

The relaxed evening quickly caught attention, with photos showing the pair chatting as they made their way through Brooklyn.

The Delicate singer’s former boyfriend kept his look casual for the night, wearing a black T-shirt, loose-fitting jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap.

The comedian, meanwhile, opted for a black mini dress paired with striking metallic-blue cowboy boots, a pink handbag and layered gold necklaces.

At one point during their evening, she was even photographed wearing Alwyn’s baseball cap while the two chatted at a bar, a small detail that has added fuel to speculation about whether their night out was more than simply friendly.

Neither Alwyn nor the Overcompensating actress has confirmed that they are dating, and the photographs alone do not establish the nature of their relationship.

The sighting comes at an interesting moment in the Hamnet star’s personal life. Earlier this summer, he was linked to actress Sarah Pidgeon after the pair were reportedly spotted packing on the PDA during outings in New York and London.
