New 'Beatles' biopic set photos show Cast recreating classic band scene

Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn and Harris Dickinson were spotted filming a recreation of the iconic opening sequence from 1964's A Hard Day's Night, the latest glimpse into Sam Mendes's four-part Beatles biopic. 

The trio was photographed being chased down the streets near London's Marylebone Station by a group of extras dressed in period-appropriate 1960s attire, echoing the famous scene in which the real Beatles ran from swarms of adoring fans.

The three actors play Ringo Starr, George Harrison and John Lennon respectively, with Paul Mescal rounding out the cast as Paul McCartney, Mescal was notably absent from this particular shoot. 

The scene follows an earlier sighting last month, when all four actors were photographed together for the first time in character, recreating the Abbey Road album cover during filming in London.

Mendes's ambitious project, titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, will present each film from the perspective of a different band member, with all four movies set for release by Sony Pictures in April 2028. 

The project marks the first time the Beatles and their estates have granted life rights and music clearance for a theatrical feature about the band.
