Drew Barrymore reveals the one thing she fears most for her daughters

Drew Barrymore shared a very personal worry about raising her two daughters, Olive and Frankie.

The actress spoke about her fears during Friday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.

She was talking to Dr. Shefali about children getting too much freedom and too many things at a very young age.

For Drew, the topic is especially close to home because she also grew up in the spotlight.

She became a famous child actress when she was very young. Looking back at her own childhood, Drew said she had too much freedom and access before she was ready for it.

"I'm seeing these kids, both boys and girls, have too much too soon, and that really harkens back to my own personal downfall of entrusting me as a child with just too much privilege, freedom and access when I was too young for it, and I didn't know how to handle it...," she said.

Drew then admitted that the thought of facing the same situation with her own children scares her.

"I feel these companies are like, 'You as the parent can talk with your child,' and I am like, 'This is my worst nightmare. How do I get out of my own past experience so I can feel more capable and present?'"

Drew shares Olive, 14, and Frankie, 12, with her ex husband Will Kopelman.

She has also said that she wants to support her daughters if they choose acting, but she feels they are still too young to enter the public world.
