KARACHI: Pakistani and Indian noted personalities have aired strong displeasure over an attack by Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena on headquarters of the Indian cricket board in Mumbai.
Following the attack, the Indian cricket board called off the talks with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) delegation led by its Chairman Sheheryar Khan.
Shiv Sena had also threatened the Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar to leave India, forcing the International Cricket Council (ICC) to withdraw the world’s one of the most famous umpires from India-South Africa one day series.
Here is how people from various walks of life reacted to this:
Arif Alavi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI):
Shiv Sena is taking over politics in India. Cricket & muslims not safe any more. Though India claims to be a secular state Modi Govt is not
