INCHEON: South Korean President Park Geun-Hye declared the 17th Asian Games open at a glittering ceremony in Incheon on Friday, kicking off one of the world´s biggest sports events. "I declare the opening of the 17th Asian Games," said Park at Incheon´s 61,000-seat main stadium.
About 9,500 athletes will compete in the 15-day, Olympic-style tournament. (AFP)
