KARACHI: The power supply to Gharo, Dhabeji and Pipri pumping stations, main source of water supply to Karachi, was suspended on early Saturday, Geo News reported.
The suspension of power supply to these three pumping stations has resulted halt to millions of gallon water to the metropolis from 5:30 am on Saturday.
Chief Engineer Water Board, Iftikhar Ahmed said these three stations supply 680 millions gallon water per day to Karachi.
According to water board officials, KESC has been informed in this regard.
