Landslide kills one miner in Harnai

HARNAI: A coal miner was killed as a landslide pounded onto him in a district of Balochistan, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to the rescue sources, the miners were performing their duties in a local coal mine of Shahrag area when a landslide glided down into the mine; resultantly, a miner, identified as Usman Khan, got trapped and lost his life.

Miners’ rescue team rushed the body of the victim to nearby hospital. The deceased was a resident of Swat.
