ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday said that its mission in New Delhi was in contact with Indian authorities in connection with the issue of Nezhat Jehan, a Pakistani citizen, who has been languishing in India.
Sources in the foreign office said that they were also reviewing media reports about Jehan, who has been kept in an Indian shelter home.
They said that efforts were underway to get counselor access to Nezhat Jehan.
