Rangers carry out raids in different parts of Karachi; weapons recovered

KARACHI: A large number of weapons and ammunition was recovered as Rangers personnel carried out raids in different parts of Lyari and Bheempura areas of Karachi on Monday.

According to a Rangers spokesman, 14 SMGs, 5 rifles, 8 pistols, 41 home-made bombs, and hundreds of bullets were recovered during the raids.

The raids were carried out on information provided by suspects who had already been arrested earlier.

The weapons were meant to be used to disrupt peace in Karachi, said the Rangers spokesman.
