LHC gives Amir clean chit, dismisses appeal against inclusion in Pakistan squad
LAHORE: Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Aamir received a clean chit from the Lahore High Court on Tuesday removing yet another hurdle in his path paving the way for his inclusion in the Pakistan squad.

Amir, known for sending batsmen back to the pavilion with his fast bowling is proving lucky with all appeals against his inclusion in the Pakistan having been dismissed by the court.

The Lahore High Court ruled in Amir’s favour on the very first hearing of appeals against him. The plaintiff had appealed that Amir’s inclusion into the Pakistan squad will be an insult for the Pakistan side, however the PCB’s legal adviser maintained the position that after having served his sentence Amir has the constitutional right to play cricket.

Earlier senior players in the Pakistani squad had expressed their reservations against Amir’s inclusion with Mohammed Hafiz and Azhar Ali refusing to play with Mohammad Amir. However after the PCB chairman got involved and spoke with the players, both cricketers agreed to playing with Amir.
