Seven more held on extortion charges in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Police in the capital city arrested seven accused who were involved in extortion cases, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to police, seven Afghans were arrested by the Sabzi Mandi police on the charges of extortion. Investigation from the held men was underway.

It may be mentioned that police on Wednesday arrested five suspects who were also involved in the extortion crime. Total 12 persons have so far been arrested on the same charges.
