KP CM writes letter to PM over drone issue
ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak has asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to convene a meeting at federal level to chalk out joint strategy over the issue of drone strikes, Geo News reported.

In a letter written to the prime minister, Pervaiz Khattak said people are concerned and furious over drone attacks, adding that unmanned aircraft’s recent attack in Hangu further enhanced these sentiments.

The letter further stated that a meeting at federal level be convened and representatives of all the provinces be invited to chalk out a joint strategy over the issue. Khattak said till the meeting, the Nato supply be halted.

The KP CM further said: “we have to prove before the world that we are a united nation and can defend our sovereignty.”
