Islamabad: educational institutions to remain closed till Jan 11

ISLAMABAD: All the educational institutions of the federal capital have been shut till January 11 as cold wave grips the entire country, Geo News reported.

Spokesman for the Ministry for Federal Affairs, Tahir Rafiq, said all educational institutions in Islamabad will remain shut till January 11.

The announcement was made two days after schools and colleges reopened after winter vacations on January 01. Further vacations are announced as cold wave grips the federal capital and the entire country.
