Model Town incident: LHC constitutes inquiry commission

LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) has constituted an inquiry commission in connection with today’s Model Town incident in which 8 people were killed and scores others injured.

According to sources, the one-judge commission comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najfi will conduct the inquiry.

Earlier in the day, eight people lost their lives and dozens others sustained injuries in a clash between workers of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) and police here in Model Town.
