Parachanar sit-ins enter 6th day

PARACHANAR: The tribesmen continued to stage sit-ins at different places for the sixth consecutive day in support of their demands paralyzing life here even on Sunday, Geo News reported.

The agitating tribesmen demanding that the political administration be changed, 36 arrested tribesmen be released and the order to expel the Khateeb of main Jama Masjid, Allama Muhammad Nawaz from the Agency should be withdrawn.

The tribal elders have also approached concerned army officials in this regard.

Kurram Agency Political administration said that efforts were afoot to get the sit-ins wrapped up with the help of jirga.
