ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday announced to put on halt its ongoing talks with the government appointed panel, citing ‘unclear and ambiguous’ stance of the latter.

According to sources, the PTI leadership made the above decision at its meeting here. They were of the opinion that the government was not even ready to admit their reasonable demands, the sources added.

Earlier in the afternoon, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan still appeared adamantly firm on his stance, reiterating that he would not pull up his protest camp from outside the Parliament House until he gets what he is here for – the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

“We won’t take a step back from our demands,” Imran Khan said while addressing the cheering crowd attending the PTI’s ongoing sit-in in Islamabad’s Red Zone.

He said if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was serious in holding talks, he should first order the removal of containers.

As part of his civil disobedience campaign, today the PTI chief appealed the people to immediately withdraw their deposits from the government run banks.

In a lighter mood Imran Khan said in his ongoing struggle for ‘Naya Pakistan’, he doesn’t have enough time to even plan for his marriage.

He said today two major politicians would also announce their coming into the folds of PTI.
