Govt, PAT final round of talks on Friday

ISLAMABAD: The final round of talks between the government and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will be held on Friday as stalemate over the resignation of Prime Minister and Chief Minister Punjab persisted, Geo News reported.

Today, both the parties held talks at the residence of former interior minister Rehman Malik, however, they failed to make dialogues meaningful.

The PAT representatives insisted on the resignations, while the government party said it was impossible as the parliament had adopted a resolution against stepping down.

Meanwhile, PAT and government representatives agreed on the investigation into Model town tragedy.
