Imran’s grand convoy contradicts his VIP culture stand

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief, Imran Khan along with his bride Reham Khan on Wednesday arrived at Army Public School, Peshawar in a grand convoy consisting of 21 vehicles.

It was not too long ago when Imran Khan used to mount his container every day in Islamabad, sometimes several times a day, and also stage rallies in different parts of the country to raise his voice against the ‘curse’ of VIP culture.

Arriving in a long convoy is a clear negation of his earlier stand against the lavish spending and luxurious style of living of the politicians.

However, it may be clarified that this is not the first time that Imran Khan had come with such a grand protocol to visit a place.
