 KARACHI: Another patient in Karachi has been confirmed to suffer from Swine Flu (H1N1) virus on Monday, taking the overall tally of the current month to 22, Geo News reported.
“As many as 22 cases have been tested positive with Swine Flu in January alone in Karachi,” according to Swine Flu Surveillance Cell (SFSC) told Geo News.
A 30-year-old youth of North Nazimabad area was shifted to OPD section at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital here a couple of days ago after symptoms of the virus were noticed.
The patient’s condition, according to doctors at SFSC, was satisfactory, who further confirmed that a total of 22 cases of virus H1N1 positive have been reported this year. |
