Judges’ restoration likely before constitutional package: Rabbani ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani hoped deposed judges would be restored before constitutional package is presented in the parliament.

Answering a question, Rabbani said, judges will be restored through executive order according to Murree declaration.

He said removal of sixth schedule has been proposed in the constitutional package and hoped it will become part of the package.

Rabbani said, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would be abolished with the removal of sixth schedule while local government and Police Order to be amended by the parliament.

He further said Parliament can not amend local government and Policc Order without the president’s approval prior to the removal of sixth schedule and the process curtails parliament’s supremacy.
