Seniors fully encourage me on tour of SL: Umar Akmal LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s young batsman Umar Akmal said that displaying prominent performance and playing for long period is his target.

Talking with media during a dinner hosted by Cricket Centre Club here last night, umar Akmal said that he gives credit for his brilliant performance on the tour of Sri Lanka
to his seniors and the captain who encouraged him a lot.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal said on this occasion that he would be much pleased when his brother Umar would play a long innings to meet the Pakistan team’s requirement.
