KSE finishes week on positive note
Updated at: 1950 PST,  Friday, August 07, 2009
KSE finishes week on positive note KARACHI: The benchmark KSE-100 Index of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) Friday gained 50 points to close at 7,872.

Buying from foreign investors and expected approval of further financial assistance to the country by IMF kept the market sentiment positive at weekend.

Market opened positive today and remained in the green zone due to fresh buying by the investors. At one point the Index was also breached 7,900 level but some profit taking brought it down, leaving it at 50 points up.

Oil and gas, banking and cement sectors drew maximum attention of the investors.
