Imran Khan backs US war on terror, but bashes drone attacks
ISLAMABAD: In a seemingly paradoxical statement, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sunday announced to support US in the 'war on terror but in the same breath vowed to launch countrywide protests against American drone attacks in the tribal areas of Pakistan, Geo News reported.

"In order to root out terrorism, it is imperative that Pakistan pull out of America’s 'war on terror' as soon as possible", said he talking to media here.

Khan said PTI would unveil its anti-drone-attacks 'protest policy' after by-polls.

To a question regarding all parties conference (APC), he expressed serious concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan, which he added called for a viable consensus policy.

"An all parties conference will be of no use unless the government formulate an effective policy for it", he added.
