Judiciary to ensure supremacy of constitution: CJP

LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said on Saturday that judiciary will ensure the supremacy of the constitution, Geo News reported.

While addressing at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry, the Chief Justice said that prompt justice is the right of every citizen. He continued saying that supremacy of constitution and law is their priority, and that the judiciary is ensuring the implementation of constitution.

The CJP further said that the judiciary will ascertain its goals as per the constitution.
