Pakistani Counsel General Aftab Khokar told journalists that the 700 Pakistani prisoners have been sent back to Karachi in the first phase. At least 4000 Pakistanis have been languishing in Saudi Arabia’s jails.
He said that the 700 Pakistanis were arrested for their illegal stay in Saudi Arabia, adding that others inmates would also be issued out-passes within two days.
