Sit-in left Islamabad, spread across other cities: Qadri
ABBOTABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader, Allama Tahirul Qadri Thursday said the sit-in had left Islamabad and spread to other cities across the country.

“When a commander in chief finds that moving further ahead is no more possible, then he chooses another battleground to launch his attack,” Tahirul Qadri explained while addressing a public meeting here.

He said in Islamabad what his party did was ‘batting’ but this time around the PAT is out to ‘bowl’.

The fiery orator reiterated his pledge that not only he would bring about a revolution but also win the election.

He cautioned that his party would lay siege around the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in case its four members did not step down before implementing the delimitation of constituencies.

Qadri said his protest sit-in in Islamabad had educated the entire nation about the revolution. “Had the sit-in a failure, a sea of people would not have turned up at Abbotabad,” he added.
