SKARDU: Six Pakistani mountaineers have scaled K2, the second highest mountain in the world. The mountaineers scaled K2 without oxygen.

The mountaineers began their climb to the summit of K2 earlier on Saturday and were aided by two Italian climbers.

The Pakistani mountaineers who scaled K2 include Muhammad Sadiq, Hassan Jan, Ghullam Mehdi, Ali Rizvi, Ali Durrani and Rehmatullah Baig.
