Unknown attackers gun down traffic police official in Karachi

KARACHI: Unknown attackers opened fire and killed a traffic police sub-inspector at Five Star Chowrangi in Karachi.

According to police, the traffic policeman was a victim of target-killing. The sub-inspector identified as Arshad received three bullets.

The deceased policeman was deployed at the traffic section North Nazimabad.

According to police, two motorcycle riding assailants opened fire on him. Following the incident, the attacker fled from the spot.

Police said five shells of 9MM pistol found at site of incident.

On May 21, two policemen were martyred near Ayesha Manzil while performing their duty.

According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers came riding a motorcycle and fled with the policeman's official weapon after the attack.
