ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday India was behind several acts of terrorism in the country.

Speaking to reporters, Chaudhry Nisar said India was capable of committing a hidden act of terrorism and it was not necessary that there would only be advancement at the border.

“For several years Hindustan has been behind acts of terrorism in Pakistan. We should be alert in every street and this is a message for everyone not just our security forces and politicians. We need to be united against terrorism,” said Nisar.

The interior minister further said if anyone saw the country with an evil eye, the entire nation would work together to tackle any threat.

The federal interior minister said that now is the time to show unity against the external enemy and not delve into internal politics.

He criticised war-mongering by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Uri attack and said that his speeches showed who wants peace and who wants war.

“Have never witnessed a country’s leader using such language,” said Nisar.

He added that the world needs to be notified of the threats continuing from the neighbouring country.
