SHARJAH: The Pakistan Super League team Karachi Kings have included 22-year old fast bowler Usman Khan Shinwari as replacement of leg spinner Abrar Ahmed in emerging category.
Abrar was ruled out of the remainder of PSL due to a stress fracture on his back after playing two games in the league against Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.
"Karachi Kings leg spinner Abrar Ahmed has been replaced due to injury by Left Arm quick Usman Khan Shenwari in the Emerging Category. Shenwari has joined the squad today," said a spokesman of Karachi Kings.
Usman first came into limelight after his bowling spell of 5/9 in the final of T20 cup in 2013 for ZTBL which earned him a call to Pakistan team for T20Is against Sri Lanka.
