Man accused of robberies arrested from Baloch Colony in Karachi

KARACHI: The man involved in various cases of robbery in the city was arrested during a raid in Baloch Colony Sunday night.

While talking to Geo News Special Investigation Unit SSP Farooq Awan the raid was carried out on a tip-off. The arrested person has been identified as Rehman alias Pappan. He is accused of being involved in various cases of robbery. A 32-bore pistol was also found in his possession. 

An FIR was registered at the Baloch Colony police station, stating Pappan's involvement in a robbery in the area. 

Baloch Colony is an area in the provincial metropolis where raids to nab proclaimed offenders and robbers are conducted time and again.

The area is dotted with illegally constructed houses and has congested streets. It runs parallel to one of the main routes of the city, giving robbers and criminals way to run out after carrying out illegal activities in the area.
